Get Started with MIP as an Employer
This article guides employers on how to join the MaritimeOne Internship Programme (MIP), whether you are new to MaritimeONE or already have an existing employer account.
If you are new to MaritimeONE
- Click the blue Sign Up button at the top right of the page, then select Employer.
- Fill in the required account information.
- Under the question “Are you interested in getting interns through the MaritimeONE Internship Programme (MIP)?”, select Yes.

- Fill in the MIP-related fields*.
*Note: These fields will only appear if you have checked 'Yes' for the question under step 3.
- Agree to the Privacy Policy.
- Click Create My Account.
Once your account is created and approved, you will be able to add internship listings for review. These listings will be subject to approval by the MIP administrators before they are published and open for applications.
When filling in the MIP-related fields, please note that the information provided is meant to indicate your preferred intake. You will be able to make changes to these details in the future, and you will still be allowed to post internship listings for all MIP intakes.
If you already have an existing MaritimeONE employer account
If you are an existing employer on the MaritimeONE platform, you do not need to register separately for MIP.
Employers who are currently not enrolled in the MIP programme can still join by adding an internship listing. Once your internship listing is approved, you will be automatically enrolled into the MIP programme.
